Main Street Books is an independent bookstore, locally owned and operated by Kathy Cunningham and Amanda Winchester -- a mother-daughter team. We're proud to be native Wyomingites and strong supporters of our local community.
After retiring from over 25 years as a teacher and literacy specialist, Kathy worked part-time at Main Street Books. She loved the atmosphere and the friendly spirit of the store (not to mention all of the books!). So when the owners decided to sell the bookstore in 2007, Kathy and her daughter Amanda jumped at the opportunity.
They bring Kathy's vast knowledge of books and knack for helping folks select just the right read together with Amanda's business sense and experience as a small business owner. At Main Street Books, it's a family affair! We proudly support our community including local schools, youth groups and other organizations working to make Lander and Fremont County a vibrant place to live.
